I’m Colin Simpson and I have worked in various learning design and education technology roles since 2003. I currently work for the Monash Education Innovation team at Monash University, Australia.
I enjoy finding the best ways to use emerging technology in education.

I am a founder and leader of the ASCILITE TELedvisors network, a community of practitioners for people working in ‘third space’ learning and teaching support roles such as academic/faculty developers, learning/instructional designers and educational technologists. We have ~500 members over 9 countries (but primarily Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand).
I’m also undertaking PhD research at the University of Sydney under Prof. Peter Goodyear into the factors that shape the working relationships of edvisors in Australian Higher Education.
